I have to admit, there were only a few ensembles that I really loved last night:
Gwyneth Paltrow – Tom Ford with killer cape (source: MailOnline)
Angelina Jolie – Atelier Versace, also wearing the best accessory, Brad Pitt (source: MailOnline)
Michelle Williams – Louis Vuitton (source Zimbio)
Emma Stone – Giambattista Valli (source: Just Jared)
Viola Davis – Vera Wang and fab natural hair (source: Just Jared)
Christian Bale – not sure of the designer but he was super chic
Sean Combs – Sean John (BTW, did anyone else notice he is dangerously close to EGOT?)
And although I saw good reviews on Sandra Bullock and J. Lo, I was not a fan.

So, after my review of E! Network’s Red Carpet Special, here are my best dressed:
Heidi Klum – I loved this textured mini Marchesa. Image courtesy of yahoo.
Claire Danes – The Armani Prive strapless column gown shines with golden sequins (even if a bit reminiscent of Anne Hathway’s.) Image courtesy of zimbio.
Brooke Burke – This white sweetheart neckline chiffon gown with slit up to there is SO Jessica Rabbit. Image courtesy of zimbio.
Kyra Sedgwick – The flow of this belted, pleated chiffon goddess gown is SO awesome. And it looks comfortable enough to dance the night away in… Image courtesy of zimbio.
Eva Longoria Parker – Another black textured gown here. I just love the train and great fitting bodice. Image courtesy of zimbio.

So I didn’t love anything that anyone wore that I loved, but here are my favorites:

Of course I’ve been fawning over myself to spy a glimpse of Cannes Film Festival gowns. And the dresses from the premiere of “Robin Hood” did not disappoint:
And I love this shot of Kate Blanchett and Russell Crowe at a press junket:
OK, Kate, this is the second pale pink blazer I’ve seen this week. And I want one ASAP!

Blake Lively – stunningly gorgeous in this teal Marchesa minidress (check out the gams)
Jude Law & Sienna Miller – they still look good together but this dude is a total piece of $h%t, I can’t believe she took him back
Amber Valleta – rocking a deep V plunge Roger Vivier turquoise gown
Eva Mendes – the floral Dolce & Gabbana KILLED it, but I do love everything she does, wears, breathes… so I guess I’m partial
Kate Bosworth – nude Valentino couture with coral embellishment requires no jewels; I love the vintage sensibility – no strapless bra required
Kate Hudson – love this nude, scandalously scant dress by Stella McCartney
Anne Hathaway – killing this Valentino sequin gown, like I want it desperately and wish it had been my wedding dress (love the shape of the bustier and how did she get such shiny hair?)
Naomi Watts – love the shade and shape of this Stella McCartney gown, but looks like she should gain a few pounds (aka in need of a few triple cheeseburgers)
Riley Keough – loving this tan Thakoon gown — the asymmetry in front vs. back rocks!!!

Miley Cyrus – loving the vintage look of this Jenny Packham… (shocked I said that since she is slumped beyond description. Note to Miley and my little sister Brittany – I promise your boobs won’t fall out. My 34Gs don’t! Please throw your shoulders back and stand tall.)

Demi Moore – blush confection of fabulosity in Atelier Versace

Meryl Streep – white and vintage-inspired, love it – especially since Chris March (remember him, the drag queen costume designer, from Project Runway?)

Jennifer Lopez (with Marc Anthony) – a gorgeous lavender/pinkish cream puff by Armani Prive

So here are my faves from this weekend’s SAG awards:
Anna Kendrick – strapless purple full length gown
Christina Hendricks – one shoulder body con dress on a curvey gal
Diane Kruger – one shoulder mustard colored gown with sweeping train
Katrina Bowden – fab white fluffy cocktail dress with black ribbon sash
Lea Michele – in deep V floor sweeping gown
Marion Cotillard – in white froufri cocktail dress
OK, so I didn’t get a chance to watch the show b/c I was hanging out with my family in Tucson. But I did watch some red carpet specials and here are my faves:
Chloe Sevigny
Christina Hendricks in Christian Siriano
Drew Barrymore
Emily Blunt and John Krasinski
Halle Berry
Kate Hudson
Also, I couldn’t find a great image of Toni Collette but WOW! She looked super beautiful. I loved everything about the look down to the earrings.

Rihanna’s look for her album release party…
Not sure I’m feeling this look or the new album but I’m hoping for the best. 🙂
